Djamchid, the father and teacher, Keyvan and Bijan Chemirani, the sons, form the Trio Chemirani, Persian percussions group. The trio composes and develops modern forms where the accent is put on polyrythmies and on multiplicity of sounds.
The perfect conciseness of the language, vertiginous combined circulation of the dialogue, the infinite variation of the touch and an outstanding complicity make this group a scenic and recording success. Seven years after its previous recording, the Trio returns fed by rich experiments and by meetings, with Mediteranean musicians, some from close and distant east, some from Black Africa, with jazz and slam. The Trio gathers a set of new pieces with a great sense of hospitality, called "Trio Chemirani invites " (BallakÚ Sissoko, Omar Sosa, Renaud Garcia-Fons, Ross Daly, Sylvain Luc, Titi Robin).
On stage, the Trio Chemirani invites its fellow companions for a waltz between outstanding artists which offers an elegant vision of sharing, and among which the visible simplicity and the ease of listening are the most beautiful invitations.
