Bringing to France this version of the adventure of Prince Rama represented a real challenge for the initiators of the project.
Nine month of work would be necessary to bring to fruition this artistic and humain adventure. The purpose was to lay aside the conventions of tourist folklore and to create a virtually completely new show, of wich the content would be moreover ninety percent pure traditional Balinese. Balinese dramatic traditions would also have to be adapted to the vast spacial dimensions of the Roman theatre.
