Three musicians, brought together by their shared passion for African music, blend their influences to create a fresh and vibrant sound. Each offers a unique perspective on this rich heritage: a Burkinabé singer-guitarist, a percussionist-singer from southern Iran, and a saxophonist fascinated by Ethiopian music and the Afro sounds of the 1970s. Together, they compose an original repertoire where their distinct musical worlds intertwine.
Their creations draw inspiration from the musical legacy left by African slaves who arrived in the 18th century in the Bushehr region of southern Iran — a profound influence still audible today in the region’s rhythmic percussive traditions. Inspired by this little-known history, they craft music that is both danceable and cross-cultural, infused with electronic and folk accents.
